Members of the team have worked together since 2008 and previously worked for SVG Capital plc, the former FTSE 250 listed private equity investment vehicle.
Our team
David Bagley
David is a Partner. He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor, SVG Capital, in 2008. Prior to that he worked for Atkins, ERM, Mercer Management Consulting, and Expedia. He has an MBA from London Business School, an MSc from Heriot-Watt University, and an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
Stuart Ballard
Stuart is the Chief Executive Officer. He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor SVG Capital in 2002. Prior to that he worked for Schroder Ventures and he started his career in legal private practice. Stuart qualified as a solicitor and has degrees in Law and English Literature from Victoria University, New Zealand.
Gilles Crouspeyre
Gilles is a Partner. He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor, SVG Capital, in 2008. Prior to that he did research on Universal Portfolios at the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (UBC, Vancouver, Canada) as a Research Assistant. He has a MSc. of Engineering from CY Tech, France, and a MSc. of Applied Mathematics from UBC.
David Dada
David is an Investment Analyst. He joined Larchpoint in 2024. David has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University of Warwick.
April Leahair
April is the Executive Assistant and Office Manager. She joined Larchpoint’s predecessor SVG Capital, in 2011.
David Lindstrom
David is a Senior Adviser and is chairman of Larchpoint’s Investment Committee. He joined Larchpoint on a part-time basis in 2020 after spending 23 years at MetLife serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Private Equity. David has a degree in economics from Duke University (USA), an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University (USA) and is a CFA charterholder.
Laurence Lum
Laurence is an Investment Director. He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor, SVG Capital, in 2009. Prior to that he worked at Apple Inc as a Finance Analyst. He has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Hertfordshire.
Zoë Ottens
Zoë is a Fund Accountant and joined Larchpoint in 2025. Prior to that she worked for KPMG as an Audit Manager. Zoë is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University.
Max Piper
Max is an Investment Associate. He joined Larchpoint in 2023. Prior to that he worked at Berry Street Capital as an Analyst. Max holds a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business from Nottingham University.
Jai Robinson
Jai is an Investment Analyst. He joined Larchpoint in 2024. Jai has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from University College London.
Isabelle Savini
Isabelle is a Finance Associate. She joined Larchpoint in 2023. Prior to that she worked for various private equity firms including Vitruvian Investment Partners and Bain Capital. Isabelle was born in France and has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English from Strasbourg University. She is currently studying for the ACCA.
Sidharth Shah
Sidharth is the Finance Director. He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor, SVG Capital, in 2014. Prior to that he worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP. Sidharth is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Accountancy from Bayes Business School, City St. George’s, University of London.
Ed Williamson
Ed Williamson is the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (SM16 and SM17). He joined Larchpoint’s predecessor, SVG Capital, in 2011. Prior to that he worked in the compliance and legal sectors of RBS and Credit Suisse. Ed has a degree in law, post-graduate diploma in legal practice and the Securities Institute diploma in regulation and compliance.
